My second time in Paradise -Turtle Bay in Long Road Portland
“Beach Rules: Soak up the sun. Ride the waves. Breathe the salty air. Feel the breeze. Build sandcastles. Rest, relax, reflect. Collect seashells. Bare-feet required.”- Unknown
After visiting Turtle Bay, I send Mishka a beautiful picture and she loved it.
So on July 27 2019, she told me her plans to revisit the Morant Bay Light House then on to Turtle Bay in Long Road Portland.
I was so up for another adventure with Mishka and Richieos.
We met an amazing couple at the Lighthouse. They decided to venture with us to Portland.
I must say, you are never alone when traveling. You just might meet the most amazing person(s) like we did.
As I promised in my last blog post on Turtle Bay, It was given the name because of the rocks in the ocean shaped like turtles.
Turtle Bay is a great place to relax and enjoy the scenic rocks that form up from the sea.
It’s a well-kept secret so be sure to check out my blogs post on So many reasons to visit Turtle in Long Road Portland . Ensure you take a swim and if you feel brave head out to the rocks.
I had a blast the second time around.
This time it was more fun because I had good company.
The glittering sunlight made the sand dazzle like a million small gems.
A Stretched of blond sands with the waves splashing on the shore made me feel like a child receiving presents at Christmas.
The endless clear blue sky above with golden sunshine made me feel all kinds of happy.
I gazed at the jewel-blue ocean thinking how amazing this place was and it will always have a place in my heart.
The air was packed with the aroma of salt.
I had a great time. We decided to search for a river to wash the salt off which would be a perfect way to end a perfect day.
Below are more amazing photos I am am pretty sure will motivate you to visit Turtle Bay.
