Returning to one of my Favourite Places in Portland: Frenchman's Cove

Frenchman’s Cove is one of my favorite places to visit in Portland. It’s a destination I will forever revisit.
It has the best of worlds, the river, and the beach.
Zoie, Tina, Orane, and I decided to visit Under the Rock Beach in Portland.
We took the Morant Bay Coaster Bus in Downtown Kingston across from Saint Williams Grant Park at JMD 250.00.
We then took a Portland Bus in Morant Bay to Hectors River in Portland for 250.00.
Deep, rounded potholes filled the roads, making it hard for vehicles to drive on the route.
We love every moment of the journey. We laughed at each other while the bus bounces to Saint Thomas then into Portland.
Under the Rock Beach is a perfect getaway. But it was close to the public because of Covid-19. Hence the property was being cleaned.
We decided to spend the rest of the day at Frenchman’s Cove because of the state of Under the Rock Beach. We took a taxi to San San, Port Antonio.
We asked for a stop at Frenchman’s Cove. You can’t miss it. A huge sigh is at the entrance.
We continued onto the stunning property. We were surrounded by greenery and clean air.
The entrance fee was JMD 1,000.00 per person. We started creating memories before we got onto the property. We took so many photos I lost count.
Frenchman's Cove normally attracts a lot of visitors. But when we arrive minutes after 12:00 PM, there were not much visitors which made it easy to take photos and enjoy the surrounding.
We proceeded to the restrooms and head straight to the river.
We had to move fast because our transportation is public and they stop operating at 5:00PM.
We took photos, played in the water like kids, swung on the swing, sat by the beach, and made Snapchat videos. It was a great day with great people.
