The timeless magic of Turtle River Waterfalls and Garden

“IF YOU ARE ALWAYS TRYING TO BE NORMAL, YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW AMAZING YOU CAN BE.” ~ MAYA ANGELOU

I told you I would be back. My second trip to Turtle River Falls and Garden was pretty spectacular. On November 3, 2018, Rosheena and I headed to Ocho Rios on a coaster bus from downtown Kingston.

When we got to Ocho Rios, we charted a taxi to the property. The driver turned on Eden Bower Road where he continued for about five minutes before reaching the beautiful Turtle River Falls and Garden.

I was very impressed with how we managed our time because we arrived on the property at 9:30 AM which was the exact time the property was open for business.

I felt great because we had the property to ourselves to take amazing photos. We started at the entrance of course because want to save every moment on camera.

There were no lockers to store our bags. We were told that they were safe under the tent they created to eat and relax. We were not ok with our bags being left out in the open so we ask the cashier if our valuables could stay with her and she said yes.

We made our way to the changing rooms. I was impressed with how were well kept they were.

We started our tour at Brain Falls. We then journeyed to Ahh, Lady Jane and Ooh Falls. They were magical. I must say this property is picture-perfect. This blog post is proof of that.

We then made our way further onto to property where we found a picnic area. We stayed there for a while talking, relaxing, playing and eating. This part of the property is called "great lawn". There is also a section on the property used for wedding ceremonies and a swimming pool.

We had the property to ourselves until a pretty cool guy came along. He took our pictures together. We returned the favour, taking pictures of him that he loved.
