“This heart of mine was made to travel this world”
I picked up the pen to record my visit to YS Falls; I felt like I had teleported to the beautiful property.
I had done in-depth research on YS Falls. I wanted to be well prepared for this trip.
It was time to take a trip to the spellbinding YS Fall with my niece Bryanna. On February 11, 2017, we took a coaster bus to Santa Cruz, then a Black River Taxi that passed through the beautiful Holland Bamboo.
Our next stop was at New Holland, where I chartered a taxi to YS Falls. Seeing YS for the first time was fantastic. The property seems never-ending.
After a couple of minutes driving to YS, we finally research the ticket off. I made sure I took the telephone number for the driver to secure my ride back to New Holland.
I was in a hurry because we arrived late. I underestimate how large the parish of St Elizabeth was and the amount of transportation we had to take. We had only half an hour to enjoy the many activities YS Falls had to offer.
We were escorted onto a tractor that carried us to the breathtaking YS Falls.
The five-minute ride was enchanting. Seeing the horses and cattle’s in the distance was everything amazing. It gave me a vineyard kind of vibes which they were successful in creating.
Upon reaching our final destination, I was speechless. I wondered to myself, why in the heavens, this gem wasn’t at the top of my list of place to visit. I could stay there forever.
This waterfall is located on the South Coast of Jamaica, in the parish of St. Elizabeth. Also, it’s on the property of a working cattle ad horse farm.
