“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
My fifth trip to Lime Cay was with @resa_unbothered. December 1, 2018, around 11 a.m. I realized I didn’t have a clip of the stunning beach.
I called Teresa and told her my plans to visit Lime Cay and she was willing to explore the beautiful beach with me. I was super happy and grateful that she said yes. I met Teresa on Instagram. She has a calming spirit. I admire that about her when we met.
We took a bus to Port Royal which cost $100 per person. You can also get the bus from downtown Kingston at North Parade. When we arrived in Port Royal, we saw a sign “LIME CAY” across from the Port Royal Primary School.
We entered the property and saw a few old boats. Also, there was a restaurant called y-knot and we continued until we saw a bar where we paid our fee which was $1500 per person. We got on the boat with other visitors and off we went.
Instantly, I had a flashback of my first time cruising on the waters and my co-worker's hat flew off her head.
When we got to Lime Cay, it's like I was seeing it for the first time. It was even more beautiful. The crystal clear water had me in awe.
We found the perfect spot. We then started taking loads of photos. The cost is $1500 for a round trip. Also, the boat ride is about 10 minutes and it’s packed with life jackets.
It will take you to the stunning Cay in the Ocean. You can take a dip in the water, sunbathed or take a walk around the Cay. Also, just lay in the sand and enjoy the view. There are no bars, snack shops or restaurant so bring your food. If you like snorkelling just bring your gears.
You can stay the entire day at Lime Cay starting from 10 am-6 pm. The boat is available every 30 minutes to take you back to Port Royal.

Let no one tell you that Kingston doesn’t have a beautiful beach to enjoy.
