I was obsessed with visiting Blue Ridge Café ever since I saw the Blue Chocolate Tea on Instagram.
I asked my friend Sean about transportation to the location and he indicated we needed to take a Mavis Bank Taxi or a Minibus costing JMD 150.00
Bryanna and I decided to take a visit on a Sunday which was a bad decision in terms of time and cost.
We took a taxi to Papine costing JMD 100.00, We went to the Texaco Gas Station behind the University of Technology.
The restaurant opens to the public Saturdays and Sundays to the public 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The roads were full of pot-holes but the scenery was beautiful which made everything perfect.
We arrived just in time. We had the restaurant to ourselves for about twenty minutes. We ordered the famous Blue Chocolate Tea were longing for.
Blue Ridge is for sure a well-kept secret hidden in the hills of East Rural St.Andrew on Salt Hill Road.
We saw stunning views of the Blue Mountain which was heavenly. I knew paradise exists on earth. Blue Ridge is for sure a place to disconnect and restore your energy.
